My Favorite Running Weather
How it went from freezing to almost sunny in less than a day, I simply do not understand. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the weather today--perfect for running!
I went with Mishi for 45 minutes. I had to leave a little early to catch a meeting on time. As promised, I did my sit-ups later: some highlights include bicycles, Germans, and "Hinds."
...How did everyone else's run go?! I hope you're having fun.

Responsibility does not only lie with the leaders of our countries or with those who have been appointed or elected to do a particular job. It lies with each of us individually. Peace, for example, starts with each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us.
-The Dalai Lama
There can be no vulnerability without risk; there can be no community without vulnerability; there can be no peace, and ultimately no life, without community.
-M Scott Peck
Well Beautiful Women,
we had an almost one hour run with some joyous moments of striding although I am renaming them for myself giant frolics (i get more excited about frolicing than i do striding...) We ran 4.5-5 miles and then had a dinner where there was barely enough room around the table. I pray that in all of our lives in the future we can continue to be a part of and open our own tables to the ever increasing people we are blessed to meet.
We had an insightful, although frustrating (the talk was not frustrating, the state of US prejudism was frustrating) talk about Halloween and the US's direct discrimination of Muslims. Women, thank you each for your honesty and courage. May we each seek to create beauty, namely the desire and creation of social justice in our lives. Thank you for the time we spent together today. Blessings this night, be well, love and peace

Pictures from the Group Run!
Past the R5 across many stop lights Emily led us to a nice neighborhood, a friendly contrast to the walled mansions we usually run through. We ran for 50 minutes followed by strides through Merion Green (the non-seniors skipped the last tree through Senior Row), and we concluded our run with lots of sit-ups and push-ups.
Running through the train station:
A Candid Shot:

Say Smile:

Again:
Big smiles as we run:

what a politically divided neighborhood:

Which spurred a conversation on faith and politics: What if Obama was a Muslim?! It seems that we're beginning to move beyond race and gender for public figures in America, but we're lagging behind on faith.

hey Sascha, missed you this morning
Sascha, I hope I didn't leave you behind this morning; I was at Rock Arch till about 8:06 and then I took off.
The run this morning (to Ardmore and back) was a bit wet and the air was harder for me to breathe. I took two short walking breaks besides stopping at Commerce to cash my paycheck haha.
Felt good when it was over, gotta go to class now :)
